I began this artwork over a year ago and have been adding to it here and there ever since with only a slight plan in mind for what I wanted from the start. This is how artworks in my "Desktop Series" play out, only this one took the longest. I do feel this is a special one.

Title: “Romantisizing Protection“
The general subject matter for this one is spiritual protection and many small designs and doodles between the main drawing parts feature symbols, designs, and ideas around this.
Medium: Ballpoint pens, markers, acrylic paint & more on board.
As with the others in the Desktop Series the full spectrum of art-making media has been applied. Obviously ballpoint pen and marker were used for the main photo-realistic drawings (The tattooed woman, the statues, and the floral design o the right). A lot of paintwork was also done (acrylics & spray paint mainly).
